PL CHOCIANOWICE RAILWAY DEPOT
As an experienced cable solutions provider, we support investments in public, industrial and urban transport infrastructure. Our solutions prove themselves in the most demanding projects, as evidenced by our involvement in the modernisation of the Chocianowice depot in Łódź - one of the most important bases for tram transport in the region.
CHALLENGE
The project involved the rebuilding and retrofitting of the depot to handle modern low-floor rolling stock and the creation of service facilities with full technological infrastructure. The challenge was the need to ensure full electromagnetic compatibility of all installations and to provide cables resistant to changing environmental conditions - moisture, vibrations, electromagnetic interference or temperature changes.
Our solution
We supplied a wide range of cables and wires for this project, including:
- power cables to supply transformer stations, switchgear and lighting systems,
- signalling and control cables for operating automation systems,
- telecommunications cables for data transmission and internal communication,
- cables for mobile equipment, resistant to bending and abrasion, used in repair shops and car washes,
- specialised alarm cables, essential for the operation of fire and detection systems.
All products supplied had the necessary certificates and complied with current industry standards (e.g. PN, EN, IEC).
