One such undertaking was the construction of the Choczewo 400 kV power substation, a significant element in the expansion of the national transmission network.

    As part of the project, we were responsible for the supply of components necessary for the construction of the substation's cable and earthing infrastructure. The scope of supply included cable manholes, copper and copper-clad tape, power conduits, and signalling cables. Additionally, we supported the investment by coordinating logistics and planning the placement of prefabricated elements on the construction site, which was crucial for the smooth execution of assembly works.

CHALLENGE

The construction of a 400 kV substation is an undertaking that requires the use of components meeting the highest technical, quality, and operational standards. All supplied solutions had to ensure long-term durability, resistance to soil and water conditions, and full compatibility with other substation infrastructure elements.

A significant challenge was also the coordination of deliveries for a large-scale investment, where punctuality and the correct placement of materials directly influenced the pace of ongoing work.

It was necessary to ensure continuity of supply and to deliver products in accordance with the design documentation and the investor's requirements.

Particular attention was paid to solutions responsible for managing cable routes and the construction of an earthing system, which play a key role in the safety and reliability of the entire power infrastructure.

Implementation effects

The cable inspection chambers supplied by Ania Holding enabled the safe routing and branching of cable routes on the station premises, whilst ensuring easy service access and high infrastructure durability. The use of prefabricated elements streamlined the assembly process and maintained compliance with design specifications.

The completion of the project included the supply of copper and copper-plated strip for the earthing system, power conduits protecting cable routes, and signal cables supporting the operation of control and monitoring systems. The comprehensive scope of supplies enabled the creation of a cohesive and reliable infrastructure that meets the requirements of a modern high-voltage transmission substation.

Thanks to its experience in managing energy investments and efficient logistics organisation, Ania Holding effectively supported the implementation of one of the most important infrastructural projects in the Polish power sector, delivering solutions that ensure durability, safety and reliable operation for many years to come.
