About the Project
As part of the modernisation of the LK38 railway line on the Ełk-Giżycko section, we supported the contractor in selecting cables used in the traction system. Our activities included technical consultancy regarding the selection of appropriate cable types and cross-sections, as well as the coordination of deliveries in accordance with the investment implementation schedule.

About the Project
We supplied copper and aluminium cables intended for 3 kV DC traction infrastructure, ensuring their timely availability at successive stages of the works. Additionally, we supported the contractor with the organisation of deliveries under a Just-In-Time model, which allowed for a reduction in the need to store materials on the construction site and streamlined the implementation of the investment.

CHALLENGE
The modernisation of the LK38 railway line required the efficient delivery of contact wires and ropes used in traction system. A key challenge was ensuring the continuity of supplies in accordance with the work schedule and adapting logistics to the successive stages of the investment project.
IMPACT OF IMPLEMENTATION
As part of the project, we supplied a complete range of copper and aluminium cables intended for the 3 kV DC traction system. The materials were delivered in stages, in accordance with the progress of construction works, which allowed for the continuity of the investment to be maintained and efficient coordination of works on the modernised section of the railway line. The execution confirmed our competence in the field of technical consultancy, the supply of materials for railway infrastructure, and the management of projects requiring precise logistical coordination.
