    Ania Holding participated in a project involving the supply of power cables and lighting systems for the capital's metro facilities. Investments of this type require the use of solutions that meet the high standards of quality, safety, and reliability characteristic of public transport infrastructure. Thanks to cooperation with renowned manufacturers of power cables and lighting, we were able to offer solutions tailored to the design requirements and the specific operational conditions of underground facilities.

  • About the Project

    The scope of supply included pre-assembled power cables and lighting systems designed for both passenger-accessible zones and technical areas. The selection of solutions took into account the needs related to durability, energy efficiency and ease of infrastructure maintenance over a multi-year operational period. An essential element of the implementation was also ensuring appropriate lighting parameters affecting user comfort and the safety of movement around stations and transit routes.

    During the project implementation, we were also responsible for the logistics of the investment process, including the selection of optimal products, analysis of available solutions and technical consultations. Specifically for the construction of the Warsaw metro, we adjusted the dimensions of the cable drums so that it was possible to transport them through the installation shafts to the installation site. The cooperation also included the coordination of deliveries and the adaptation of the offered solutions to the design requirements and specific working conditions characteristic of metro infrastructure.

CHALLENGE

Metro facilities are among the most demanding environments for installations. The challenge was to provide cables with appropriate technical parameters, while taking into account the specifics of the underground infrastructure and logistical constraints at the construction site. An essential element of the implementation was the pre-fabrication of cables in accordance with the customer's specification, including the preparation of suitable lengths and adapting them to the installation requirements and mounting conditions.

IMPACT OF IMPLEMENTATION

The power cables supplied by us ensured a reliable power supply to the metro infrastructure, constituting an essential element for the efficient functioning of the facility. The applied solutions enabled the installation to meet technical and operational requirements, ensuring appropriate conditions for the safe and uninterrupted operation of individual zones of the infrastructure.
