On 21st April 2026, a unique meeting took place at Zespół Szkół nr 2 in Wieluń for students training to become electrical technicians. Thanks to the collaboration with Siemens and the involvement of Ania Holding, the young people had the opportunity not only to learn about modern technologies but, above all, to test them in practice.

Learning that goes beyond textbooks

Vocational education is taking on a completely new meaning today – especially when theory meets real experience. This is exactly what happened during a meeting with representatives of Siemens, which took place at ZS No. 2 in Wieluń.

The students had the chance to see what the modern electrical installation industry looks like „from the inside”. Instead of diagrams and definitions, they could test specific devices, real-life applications, and practical tips that are difficult to find in school materials.

From knowledge to action

The training programme has been prepared so that young people can gain both a solid theoretical foundation and practical skills. During the training, students learned, among other things:

  • SENTRON modular equipment full range,
  • differences in determining short-circuit capacity according to IEC 60947-2 and IEC 60898 standards,
  • rules for correct selection Residual-current devices
  • correct assembly of equipment using jumper bars – practical part.

The practical sessions proved to be particularly valuable. The opportunity for independent work with the equipment allowed for a better understanding of its operation and a glimpse into the daily life of an electrician.

Equipment like in real work

One of the strongest aspects of this meeting was the opportunity to work with modern equipment, exactly the kind that students will encounter in their future careers. This is a completely different experience than learning solely from textbooks or diagrams. When you can connect something yourself, test it, and see the results with your own eyes, the knowledge simply stays with you for longer.

Thanks to the commitment of Ania Holding, conditions very close to those found daily in the industry have been created. Students were able to work on real equipment, test solutions, and see what the practical side of being an electrician looks like. This not only develops skills but also builds confidence, which is really important at the start of a career.

Such initiatives best show how much can be achieved through good cooperation between schools and businesses. When theory meets practice, and the experience of specialists reaches students directly, the results are truly visible.

For young people, it's more than just a set of activities; it's an opportunity to better understand their future profession, ask questions of practitioners, and see what work is like behind the scenes. For companies, on the other hand, it's a chance to share knowledge and make a real impact on the development of future specialists. It's a partnership that makes sense for both sides and simply works.

Finally, we would like to thank the company Siemens for the cooperation and for conducting the training. Special thanks go to Marcin Bielewicz and Konrad Wolski for sharing their knowledge in an accessible and practical way.
