In September, we had the honour of presenting Electrical Centre “ANIA” Boguccy Sp. z o.o. at the International Railway Fair TRAKO, which took place in Gdańsk at the AmberExpo facility.

Our exhibition presence was one of the key stages of our growth strategy - we prepared the stands in cooperation with our technology partners, companies Lynxeo and PLP Belos, jointly representing a range of modern solutions for the rail sector.

Preparations and stand

Right from the stand design stage, we focused on aesthetics combining functionality and a technological touch. We wanted visitors to know right away: they are at a partner for whom technology, quality and innovation are priorities. The stand included, among others:

  • exhibitions of cables and cabling systems manufactured by Lynxeo - the company specialises in the design and manufacture of high-performance cables for infrastructure, industry and rail transport
  • traction components through cooperation with PLP Belos (combining our group's offering with the PLP Belos product gives a wide range of solutions for railway infrastructure)
  • information material and application visualisations - to make the technology easier to understand even for those who are not deeply technically knowledgeable

Preparations included the logistics of supplying exhibition materials, coordinating stand set-up, training the exhibition team and trial presentations for the in-house team. As a result, from the very first hours of the fair, we were ready to professionally serve trade visitors.

Trade fair days: meetings, presentations and inspiration

International Railway Fair TRAKO were held on 23-26 September. The first day of the fair passed in a more relaxed atmosphere, allowing us to greet visitors at ease. At the stand, we were able to present key technologies Lynxeo and traction equipment PLP Belos. We were also accompanied at our stand by Mariusz Wlazły - well-known Polish volleyball player and one of the most recognisable athletes in the country. His presence attracted many visitors, who were eager to stop to chat and take a commemorative photo. This was an added touch that made our stand stand out not only for its innovative solutions, but also for its unique atmosphere.

The following days proved to be the most intensive. The stand was visited by numerous representatives of railway companies, infrastructure operators, system integrators and engineers. We talked about technical possibilities, potential implementations and pilot projects.

There was great value in bringing together the offerings of several companies in one place. This allowed us to compare different technological approaches and discuss which parameters are key in practical applications.

The last day, although shorter, was very intense. Questions were raised about delivery times, guarantee conditions and integration of solutions into customers' systems. It was the finale of several days filled with valuable contacts and the exchange of experiences.

TRAKO through the eyes of our experience

This event brought us plenty of inspiration and insights to share:

  1. Technology and conversations in the language of experts
Visitors approached with specific questions and expected expert answers. Our stand became a place not only for presentations, but also for advice - many of the conversations were about technical details, especially the selection of cables and accessories for specific working conditions.
  2. The power of partnerships
Thanks to the presence of Lynxeo and PLP Belos, we were able to show a comprehensive range of products - from cables and electrotechnical components to traction accessories. This diversity was appreciated by integrators and contractors, who were keen to stop by to talk about joint projects.
  3. A direct voice from the market
During the fair, we heard a lot of valuable feedback and suggestions. The most frequently repeated needs were for more flexible cable combinations or changes in fittings to suit local standards. Such discussions are the best source of knowledge about what the market wants.
  4. The visual side matters
A lot of people stopped by our demonstration materials and visuals. We found that samples and interactive presentations were a great way to start a conversation and attract attention.

Future directions

After the fair, we focused on a few key activities:

  • establishing contact with companies that visited our stand and were interested in cooperation,
  • develop work on solutions adapted to the most demanding conditions,
  • fine-tuning of logistics and warehousing to respond more efficiently to customer needs,
  • planning participation in future trade fairs and industry events to be even closer to the market.

For us, being present at TRAKO was not only a promotion, but also an opportunity to meet experts and customers who shared their expectations and ideas. This allows us to act even more effectively and develop projects based on the real needs of the industry.
